Inventories for better property management

An important consequence of the Tenancy Deposit Scheme legislation, which is already passed in the Scottish Parliament, is that end-of-tenancy costs will have to be rigorously justified in order to make deductions from a deposit. It will be essential to have an independent inventory carried out at the start of a tenancy in order to measure any subsequent deterioration beyond fair wear and tear.

Unlike many letting agents in Edinburgh, Clan Gordon already outsources inventories to an independent company, which is FSA regulated. Inventory prices, subject to change by the supplier, are detailed below. Note that after the first inventory is done, the price falls for subsequent renewals.
