The renovation was complete in less than two months, and the flat let in less than 4 weeks with the rent increased by almost £100 pcm.

The owner of this ground floor one bedroom flat lives in Spain and had let the flat previously using friends and family to help out. When the last tenant left she decided this was too much hassle and came to Clan Gordon for a full management service. 

After looking at the property and meeting the owner it was clear that the flat, like many properties let in Edinburgh, had been allowed to become tired and in poor condition throughout.

We came up with a renovation plan to last 6 to 8 weeks and were given the go-ahead by the owner to start the project. The plan involved upgrading most of the flat rather than ripping everything out to keep to a reasonable budget.

We were able to source a kitchen that fitted the budget and cleaned the bathroom up with new tile grouting and sealant. The flat was then redecorated throughout and a new furniture pack supplied by Clan Gordon.
