Clan Gordon Shortlisted for Three Awards at The Prestigious Negotiator Awards 2025
Since founding Clan Gordon in 2008, brothers Andrew and Jonathan Gordon set out to do one thing really well – provide property management that landlords and tenants could genuinely trust. Seventeen years later, that focus on doing things properly has helped build a letting agency that manages over 700 properties across Edinburgh, with a team of 17 people who share that same commitment to high standards.
It’s been a year of significant milestones for the team. We’ve grown our portfolio, strengthened our compliance and maintenance capabilities, and continued to advocate for clearer regulations that benefit landlords across Scotland. We’ve also maintained the service standards that matter most – 97% tenant satisfaction and 95% landlord satisfaction.
And today we’re delighted to announce that Clan Gordon has been shortlisted for three categories at The Negotiator Awards 2025: Regional Agency of the Year: Scotland, Lettings Agency of the Year (Medium), and Property Management Department of the Year.

The Negotiator Awards has been celebrating excellence in residential property for 17 years, establishing itself as the sector’s most respected independent awards programme. With its rigorous judging process – led by industry experts and leaders – and a commitment to fairness and transparency it has earned a reputation as the gold standard for UK letting and estate agents.
With record-breaking entries this year and no charges to participate, the awards remain accessible to agencies of all sizes. Being shortlisted among this level of competition makes the recognition particularly significant for Clan Gordon.
What This Recognition Means
Being shortlisted in three categories reflects the breadth of our work across lettings and property management. From strategic growth in Scotland’s competitive market to day-to-day operational excellence in managing properties, these nominations recognise both our approach and our results.
The past year has seen us invest in dedicated Compliance and Maintenance Manager roles, achieve 100% compliance across our portfolio, and maintain service standards that translate to genuine loyalty from clients. Around 11% of our new instructions now come from direct referrals, which tells us we’re doing something right.
But what we’re most proud of is staying true to the principles that started this business – turning away landlords who won’t meet decent standards, advocating for clearer regulations even when it’s uncomfortable, and building a team where every single person is MARLA-qualified or working towards it.
Results to be announced in November
The finalists and winners will be announced at a gala dinner at the five-star Grosvenor House hotel on Park Lane, London on 28th November 2025. The ceremony follows The Negotiator Conference & Expo, bringing together agencies from across the UK.
