What makes Clan Gordon different?
We provide a professional service that landlords can trust, as a Clan Gordon landlord you can expect:
- Quality tenants
We meet every applicant at individual, accompanied viewings. Landlords always have the final say on who will be renting their property.
- Onsite check-in
We don’t believe in simply handing over keys. All new tenants are offered a check-in, where they are shown how to maintain their new home.
- Photographic inspection report
An initial inspection is carried out in the first 3 months. Landlords receive a photographic report after each inspection.
- Reliable communication
100% of landlords responding to our 2018 Client Satisfaction Survey confirmed they are satisfied with the extent to which they are kept updated about their property.
Changing letting agent
Switching the management of your property to Clan Gordon is a straightforward process. All you have to do is inform your current agent that you want to change to Clan Gordon and we will:
- Contact your letting agent to confirm the changeover date
- Collect keys, certificates and paperwork on the changeover date
- Contact your tenants to advise that we will be managing the property and arrange a convenient time to meet
- Carry out an initial property inspection and send you a photographic inspection report
- Ensure all safety certificates and paperwork are correct and in date
We work to ensure that the changeover happens smoothly for both you and your tenants. Find out more about changing letting agent on our blog.
Letting agent problems?
There have been big changes in the way letting agents operate and are regulated in the last 12 months. These changes have created a more professional industry, benefiting landlords and tenants, but have also meant that some smaller agents, who are unable (or unwilling) to meet the new standard, have ceased trading.
Finding out that your letting agent has been bought by another agent or has gone into liquidation can come out of the blue for landlords and tenants, leading to panic and uncertainty. Contact us for free, impartial advice on your options if your letting agent has let you down.

*Offer is valid for new landlords signing up between 15th January 2019 and 31st March 2019. A marketing fee of £175+VAT will apply, except in cases where we take over the management of a tenanted property.
